The photograph of a cleavage evokes sensations of vulnerability, intimacy, seduction. The cyan hue in which the image is immersed recalls photographic techniques of past decades, while the glossy reflection of the elaboration recalls contemporary plastic aesthetics, placing the image in timelessness. A knitted wire mesh nestles in front of the photograph. It is warmth, cover and fence at the same time. Does it enclose or protect? Does it limit or remove boundaries? How self-determined is the concealment and unveiling of our bodies?
