I absolutely adore language, words and the play with multiple layers of meaning. as a psychiatrist w o r d s are my major remedy (apart from the human relationship obv) - they open up transformative spaces, they provoke, they calm, they give us back our agency (= consciousness) over territories in our psyche which we had lost.
Apart from that I write from time to time.

My experimental novel "Erklärung Mitmir" was honored 2004 with the youth award of the Exil-Literaturpreise „Schreiben zwischen den Kulturen“ and published in the two books "wortstürmer" and "best of 10". Here is a review about it.
My medical doctor thesis "Mentalization and Violence in Patients with Chronic Pelvic Pain" was honoured with the Lore Antoine Prize of the Austrian Society of Female Doctors and a Poster Prize of the ÖGPGG.
My final thesis for the medical speciality title of psychiatry and psychotherapy "separating common wounds - about dealing with shared trauma in a psychotherapeutic process" was awarded by the Swiss Society of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy as best final thesis of the year 2023.
